    Well, if Washington could be incorrect in regard to foreign policy what is the problem with discussing it?

    It's not like I'm obligated as a citizen to nod my head to every policy that Washington endorses. I think Bush's idea to democratize the world is a fool's errand. It costs too much and will end in failure. The US prestige in the world will take a hit as a result and that is a negative for us.

    I also happen to believe they should leave the damn economy alone, too. They wreck everything they try to fix. Getting a college education costs a fortune now after they pumped all their financial aid into the system.

    His idea was to kick some ass. Saddam copped an attitude at the wrong time. The aftermath? Fodder for discussion, but what's the point of taking him out then letting the next despot slip into his place. (Note: Respond to that last statement if you must but I am not getting into that debate again.)
