finally made my first game of the year...man, this team is about 1 or 2 years away from being great! A lot of YOUNG talent. I was very impressed w/Tyrus and Darnell. Although they were playing an inferior opp, Lazzare really looks like he worked on his game during the off season.

The team plays w/a lot of hussle - it looks like every player is fighting for a starting spot. They play D!

I like Voogd a lot - not selfish at all and will turn out to be a good point guard. He is a freshman and makes freshman mistakes but I think one year of SEC ball will mature him a lot. One negative thing...his release on his jumpshot is very low (about eye level) - don't think this will fly in the SEC.

Tasmin has a VERY quick release! Most of us already know he has solid skills. He'll be in the running for SEC Frosh of the Year.

Chris Johnson - man this dude is 6'11, 190 lbs - looks like a toothpick. But this dude can shoot the 3!

I don't like DMitch running the point - I think Tack will take over this role when he returns, only b/c of experience. But this also scares me - Brady and Tack don't get along. Also w/Tack, it's all about him. As I stated earlier, Voogd is a non-selfish point guard but needs to improve.

I don't see them winning against WV this weekend but this team will win a lot of games this year. If the players stay, give us a couple years and the sky's the limit!

do you realize he was 0-4 from 3 tonight? was wide open for every one of them, too (although i guess itd be hard not to be at 6'11'')

i shelled out the $100 for geaux zone.

btw. this nicholls st team is very young and was outmatched tonight, but played with indiana for most of the first half

"After the Colonels jumped to an 8-4 lead, Indiana seized control with a 20-6 run that gave them a 32-18 lead midway through the first half.

The Colonels rallied, closing to 35-31 and were still within 45-40 with 1:28 left in the half."

Forget Chris Johnson... who saw Big Baby make a 3 tonight? I went ballistic.

Who's Fleshman and what's his story? At first I thought he was a trainer or something, but then he got some mop-up duty and the crowd loved him.

Shot 57% from field... a very high number... means alot of work on the boards..

Got a chance to see 4 of our opponents last night.

KY- No inside play at all. Will not be one of Tubby's typical in your face defensive team. If they are successful, it will come from their good perimeter shooters

UCONN- Very athletic team that is very good. We will match up with them talent wise.

WVA- a team that will remind you of going to the dentist because if you dont guard, you will get DRILLED. Big men can shoot and they run the "princeton" offense better than Princeton runs it. Great back cuts, excellent fundementals. Will be our toughest non-conference test.

Ark Piggies- Another athletic team that can't guard a folding chair.
