    you know it. it didn't look that lopsided to me. thinking there may be some popularity contest stuff going on.

    concur. now let's bring it back to japan and see what happens (i think they have more objective judging).

    now i am watcing it, and yeah, this woman the pastry chef is quick. maybe she will be one of the challengers when they go to the format like the japanese show, with iron chefs battling non-iron challengers.

    another comment: while i like iron chef america, and i like alton brown, i still think i may prefer the japanese version, because part of the charm is the language dubbing and culture of the original.

    incidentally i have never seen a female chef on iron chef before, maybe the japanese arent ready for that.

    The language dubbing is the touch that sets the Japanese version apart. Better than watching some Japanese actor yell "RUN, IS GODZIRRA!"

    I missed all of it tonight. I was out eating in Little Italy. My hotel room does get the Food Network. Thanks for posting the results of tonights shows.

    BTW, what was the secret ingredient in the Puck vs. Morimito contest?

    dude, in puck/morimoto the ingredient was eggs! so easy! even i can make 5 things out of eggs. easiest ingredient i have ever seen.

    btw, I'm pumped. I've got tickets for tomorrow nights Giants and Braves game. I can't wait to get to watch Bonds play in person.
