Too little, too late...

FDR and LBJ were Democrats. They are the ones that herded the poor into reservations and created this needy population.

 

I know lots of black men. There are some at work that I have a great deal of respect for. They are respectful and honorable men. I don't see them as a black man but as a good man. There are many white dudes I know that are not nearly as honorable as the black dudes I know. Black people do not have a monoply on being trash.
When you have gang bangers running around acting like quasi mafia thugs , stealing and robbing people you have to get that infection out. It doesn't make a damn if they are black , white , Asian or Hispanic. If you are going to be a menace to society than you deserve to ,at the very least, go to prison for your entire life. These pos have no skills to market except on how to rape , rob and steal while selling drugs. Most quit school and are absolutely flopin useless. There parents were useless in most cases and their kids will probably be useless too. We as taxpayers feed them and their kids, pay for their medical needs and subsidize their rent. IF we are going to take care of them on the outside then we just as soon lock their azz up for their entire life so they can't hurt anyone else or have any more kids that we will have to support as taxpayers.
I say no plea deals anymore. If you have crack, powder, meth or any other hard drug and kill someone you get the death penality.
How can anyone say that were locking up crack dealing gang bangers too long? Well maybe they're right. We should be hanging them the day after they're convicted. White , black, Asian or Mexican. If you have hard drugs and are involved in a crime involving a gun then death with no exceptions. Maybe we wouldn't have all the drug induced gang violence it we started the public square hangings again for the gang banger gangster thugs.

 

Same goes for every problem we have today, but the Dems started all that crap. Once the benefits are delivered it's political suicide to take it away but liberals, err, Democrats always give it away in the 1st place

 

It's national suicide not to address the debt problem. A compromise is a must. Eliminate tax deductions without raising individual tax rates is a simple compromise that can leave both sides saving face and it will raise tax income. One example is the home intrest deduction. I count on that deduction every year as do most home owners. Democrats want to cut that and reps don't. A compromise would be to limit that to one home per family and limit the amount to ten thousand. I must say that I do not know exactly what the rules are now. I do know that it does help me every year and it would cause me to have to pay without it. Compromises can work to benifit the country. Reagan compromised with a democratic house and saved the country during double digit inflation. Clinton also compromised with a republican house to create very meaningful welfare reform. They owe it to us to do this. Compromise is how good things happen. Republicans are not always right or wrong. Democrats are not always right or wrong. Put together all the right things from both parties. They seem to be trying to appeal to the fringe supporters on both sides. Reps cater to the rush crowd and dems to the enviro , socialist union crowd. Both Reagan and Clinton showed us that compromise between the parties grows the economy and enriches us all as a country.

 

Why can't they just keep benefits in place, but rather stop all new benefits?

 

That's the irony. Once young people grow up, they become conservatives.
