Bad Company had some great songs then faded,.. Rodgers was sorta like Hercules,.. when he cut his hair, he lost his powers, turned into a dweebe.

I had a bunch of their old shit back in the day. Garage Days, Garage Days Revisited, Re-Revisited, etc. Metal Up Your Ass, Whiplash, One, Jump In The Fire, and ok course their best albums Ride The Lightening, Master of Puppets, Justice for All.

Their original days with Cliff Burton and Dave Mustain was the best Metallica.

A good majority of the major hair bands from the 80's had great lead singers. Skid Row, GnR, Poison, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Aerosmith, KISS, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, White Snake, Bon Jovi... the list goes on forever.

Is 80’s music the only type of music that is solely identified by its decade?

No. I’d say that can go for all ‘50’s through ‘90’s music.

But I would say it’s the most famous decade of music and identified by it’s long haired bands.

You listed Alice Cooper as an 80's band. They were around at least since the early 70's.
