I think the only team with a shot at an upset is Miami (OH) over Ohio State. QB Josh Betts is suppose to be a stud!!!
#7 Virginia Tech at N.C. State #8 Miami at #12 Florida State I think it will be both of these games with the upset. I don't think Florida St. is much of an upset but these are my picks and I'm sticking to them.
I'll go with you on this one, especially if Tressel forgot how good his team could be if they throw the ball. The Va Tech game is my second pick for an upset, little Vick may just give the game away. Miami/FSU is not really a big upset no matter who wins IMO.
I will go out on a limb here and say USC goes down in week 1. It is tough to fly down to Hawaii and play there. I think this will be like the USC-Standford game last year, where everyone was like wow USC could lose this game. FUSC
NC State over Va Tech wouldn't shock me, but also don't overlook Miami (Oh). They'll be solid this year, and I'm sure would love to knock off The Ohio State University as well.
I think Hawaii's style is one of a kind, and if USC made this trip in the middle of the season, I would agree that it is a game, but they will ahve a month to prepare for it, and I think they will be too much. I do know the Hawaii team will be playing spirited times 10 though... so I may be wrong...
