did you watch the game? i wouldn't guess you did with your reply. it was reported during the game that hawaii returned 4% of the passing and something like 6% of rushing from last year. all the key players that contributed to passing and rushing are gone yet they had really big plays against usc. the two qb rotation hawaii used were two that have very little to none game experience and missed a lot of open receivers. also having new running backs they were still able to rush pretty well at times during the game. my wife made a comment that it looked like a pro team against high school players but the high school players seemed to continue to make big plays. don't even try to say anything about hawaii being small but fast because that is not the case if you watched the game, usc's defense was constantly out of position and blowing coverages. this game is more like the asu game against temple, until we see usc play a better team we won't know how the coaching changes and loss of players from last year will affect them. hell on one play a safety had the angle on bush and still wasn't even able to get a finger on him so the small but fast doesn't fit hawaii's team.
Cal's starting QB broke his leg yesterday and is probably gone for the season... and we thought fUSC's schedule couldn't get any easier. It just did!!
