I don't know why people would choose Fry over Bender but your assertion that Bender is the scense stealer is wrong. That obviously goes to Dr. Zoidberg, I hope the futurama movies over the summer kinda feature him a little more.

bender is fabulous, but fry is a more developed character. although most of my favorite lines are not from either, but from either random people or scruffy or professor farnsworth.

That's a great movie. So many great lines in that. "Fletch" is my favorite Chevy Chase movie by far.
