    Tiger Fans,

In case you forgot about good old Oregon State and our missed PAT's, I am sure you were reminded of it today. Tough loss, and don't think I don't know how it feels to lose a game to a PAT! We Beavers know all too well. I was pulling for the Tigers to go undefeated this season, and when I saw the game recap on ESPN, I got that same sick feeling in my gut I got when our kicker missed those PAT's. I wonder how many of you fans sat there after the first one, flashed back to the OSU game, and had the fleeting but dreaded thought..."What if that ends up costing us the game??"

If there's a lesson to be learned from this, I think I have an idea. Our national failure, Billy Buckner....errrrr.....Alexis Serna, nailed a 35 yard field goal today in Corvallis after a torrent of rain soaked our field. So there's hope!

Keeps your chins up. It looks like USC just might lose to BYU, so there's a chance you can repeat! If only some one can knock of Oklahoma!

    Respectfully,

    Benny Beaver!

It sure is classy of you to come back and post here and to actually root for us.
Believe it or not it just happened again tonight!!!!!

    The Florida vs Tenn game.
Tenn went to tie it in the end and their kicker missed the extra point.
    28-27
Tenn still have a chance with 55 seconds left though

The difference is when we lose we come back and win championships, when you lose a close one you sink further down and lose next week.

It's about coaching my friend and we have it. Oh we'll lose the ocasional close one, but in the end the numbers in the W column will be double digits EVERY year and the numbers in the L column will be very small. Like pre school small.

You see this is TIGER country not beaver country? There is a HUGE difference. Kudos to your team for hanging tough, but like i said in the end last year Florida beat us, but where were they at the end of the year? I know where LSU was. Thanks for visiting Tigerforums, have a great day.

It did seem a bit unecessary to respond to his post in such a way, but maybe we are just misreading it.
