He played the first quarter and looked good, but he must have tweaked it, cause he didn't play again.

After one week, it seems that your team has a lot more work to do than us. Couple that with the hostility of Tiger Stadium, and that spells disaster for the Wildcats.

The heat shouldn't be a problem. It's been unseasonably cool lately, and that's expected to continue into the weekend (maybe fall is starting early?). At any rate, that would be the least of your worries. As red pointed out, this team probably has more character than any other in the country, given what they endured last year. Don't expect them to be looking past you.

Yeah, it took almost 3 minutes to put the 1st 14 up.

Yeah, I don't know how 17/45pts in the second half amounts to 'breaking out.'

I agree. Overlooking one particular team/game is affordable by the fans, but illadvised by the team.

Luckily for us, our players, over the past few seasons, haven't over-looked anyone.

I'm not going to be so bold as to say that we'll see another 59-13 (or was it 53-13??) thrashing and a Tiger victory this year like in '03, but I'm sorry to all the visiting 'Zona fans out there....at this point in time, a Wildcat 16-13 victory over BYU on a late FG doesn't exactly make my legs weak.

i don't question the focus that the LSU staff and players will be giving 'Zona..... but one does wonder how much of the playbook Miles will be showing, knowing that Auburn is laying in the weeds.

One thing is certain, the AU staff and fanbase will be watching this game with keen interest and the tivos on alert.

Well Jimbo has been at LSU for 7 years, and Bo was at LSU last year........I don't think they have much to hide as far as the playbook goes. We might have a few special plays to pull out if we need them, but I think your coaching staff pretty much knows LSU by now, and the same with us.
I for one think this game can be close, I of course want LSU to win big but will be happy with a W no matter what.

Honestly, I really don't think it's a concern (showing too much "playbook").

Think about it. Auburn and LSU know one another and it's no secret what each team brings to the table. It's been the same way for years now.

Both staffs know pretty much everything that is expected.
