Before the draft I heard / saw where some of the alleged gurus were saying some NFL teams might give him a look at safety. Anybody heard if NS is thinking along those lines ?
He might've seen time at safety, but Will Poole, who was probably going to start at corner went down for the year with a knee injury. They're going to need Travis to step in right away and be the nickel corner.
he obviously knows he was drafted by the dolphins yet is asking if NS is going to give him playing time at safety. that's why he said before the draft some teams had mentioned it and asked if NS was going to.
He is eventually going to be a starter at corner too. Reggie Howard isn't that good and he gives up way too many big plays.
gotta admit this adds a lot more excitement to the NFL seasons when LSU players figure prominently on rosters, especially as starters.
