Later last night Alberts said LSU was his #3 team in the country behind Southern Cal and Oklahoma. I think he changes his opinion each time they shoot a new segment.
Well, if he made you laugh he is in fact funny to you. If he wasn't controversial to you, you would not have started TWO threads about it. He must be smart (football wise) or ESPN would not have hired him to him to co-host THE premier college gameday show. Is it so hard to just take what crap he says for what it's worth? I just don't understand the whining...

Then wonder what it would feel like if you really were the best team in the Southeastern conference, or even in your own division, and then perhaps you'd realize where the impetus for me to complain about Alberts mentally flatulating on air each week in regards to the Southeastern Conference comes from. See, the problem is, there are actually people out there who pay to hear his 'analysis' that's obviously off-base. There are people out there who actually listen to it and don't think objectively on their own, too. It also means that since he's compensated by ESPN, Reece Davis and Mark May can't totally come out and say, "You're a Nebraska homer, and you are a total idiot when it comes to college football." Even though they called him on his stupidity, tried to talk reason, and then literally snickered at his justifications. In case you're wondering, many people register a state of shock or just pure disbelief at first by laughter. This does not imply anything near humor. Perhaps you should cut the "I'm a logical guy, and I'm going to pick apart your post so I can make you feel silly" schtick. I think there is a difference in the best team in the SEC and who is playing best. Example: I'm not sure if anyone was playing better than Fla the last month. After the last 2 games I think we're up there with them. I do think LSU is the best team in the SEC right now. Look at UT, ARK, Auburn, Georgia, all these teams are struggling right now, some have injuries but so does LSU.
