    I'll go with sprinting as the de facto sport definition. No bigger sports star worldwide than the man who wins the 100....400 is a close second.

    Track and field and wrestling are the foundation of modern sports. The ancient Greeks founded the Olympics based on them and there is no more pure form of sport than them.
