Holliday safely through his 1st round heat in 10.15. He runs his quarterfinal at 7:00 PM CST live on NBC. Here is the link to the Olympic Trials Schedule/Results. http://www.usatf.org/events/2008/OlympicTrials-TF/schedule.asp
Holliday and X-man make it through to the semifinals tomorrow. Holliday got a terrible start, but was the last qualifier after they counted down to the 1/1000ths of a second
Here is Holliday's story... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...ong/06/27/trindon.holliday/index.html?eref=T1
Holliday's dream has come to an end. He was 6th in his semifinal. He picked a terrible time to run the worst he's run all season. Technically, he looked the worst I've ever seen him yesterday. The times of the finalist are well within his reach. Xavier Carter finished 4th and advances to the finals.
Holliday is no longer the fastest college football player ever. Some athlete from Florida ran a 10.01 yesterday.
Sorry for Holiday and mixed emotions over Xavier. Congrats to x-man but I have a hard time forgetting his involvement in the perpetual trouble some LSU players seemed to find last summer. His name came up all the time and I hope he has put LSU in his rearview mirror.
