Trindon IS football fast. People can not catch him on the football field. That by definition IS football fast. Nobody is saying he's the best of all time, just the fastest. As in on the football team, he can cover more ground in less time than anyone else can.
Cadillacattack, do you have any documented proof of Bob Hayes or Darrell Green ever having run faster than 10.02 FAT? The funny thing is that football fans always complain about track guys who can't run in a football uniform. However, even at the NFL Combine and the NFL's fastest man competition, the players are dressed for a track meet and not a football game.
is the mock 2-deep that red55 posted true? ...... is Holliday really stabled at third for KO returns? That must be a typo.
Hint. Monk chart by Dany Don. BTW, no one said there weren't better football players than TH. I believe they were talkng speed.
You're right Caddy. Holliday is overrated and ain't all that fast. Don't give him a second thought. He's five-foot nuthin' and a hundred and nuthin'. Groves could break him in half. He broke Xavier Carter's record but Carter was slow, too. Holliday is only the second fastest collegian in America today. Big deal. Overrated, I tell you.
The bottom line is that neither you or Cadillac can name one college football player who has ever run faster than 10.02 FAT. And the reason you can't is because there is none.
I sense the sarcasm, but nowhere did I say that Holliday wasn't fast, nor did I imply he was overrrated. JMO that using track speed to discuss football potential is ludicrous. Better to tout his accomplishments relative to his peers than to look like a fool and compare him to NFL Hall of Famers.
Yes, but we're still talking about FOOTBALL SPEED. On the field, with the ball in his hand, nobody can catch him. i.e. he is the fastest!
