Trojans Fans Melt Down After Cal Holiday Bowl Embarassment

I was sorta thinking 6-7-8, depending on other games of course. I hope we're both wrong. :grin:

 

This whole thread is kinda funny to me. I agree that the Pac-10 is overrated, but all this slamming them as a joke is the exact same stuff that was posted up here before the Oregon State game this year. You people have short memories. : ) I do believe that the Pac-10 is a weaker conference, but just because Cal got it handed to them last night doesn't mean that OU is going to smoke USC. I watched a little of USC this year, and even though I can't stand them at all, and even as much as it hurts me to say this, they're pretty good. OU is the better more complete team, because USC has some holes, particularly in their defense. USC's offense has some talent though, so they're going to put some points on the board. If OU comes out flat or isn't clicking on all cylinders, this game could go either way. If both teams play to their potential and it's just left up to who's the better team, OU should take it. They are more complete, they have the better defense, and now that they have a run game, White should be able to pick apart the holes in the Trojan defense. I don't see OU blowing out USC though. I hope I'm wrong, b/c that would make me feel really good and warm and fuzzy on the inside, but I just don't see it happening.

 

Last night's ESPN's Craig James ($MU) told it like it was. Cal got slapped around. I don't think Corso and/or Herb would have said what James did. Just don't think they would have the guts to say what should have been said, when a lot of people watching the game were probably thinking the same thing at home.

Thats what he said, this year they are overrated and that last year they were underrated. I think he was back at the studio and his comments were immediately post game.

 

That's what I thought. I turned the channel to watch the LSU basketball game and didn't hear it. Surprised to hear him say that.

Just don't try and call me out saying I missed something that was so obvious when I wasn't even watching it. Just get your facts straight before you do.
