It's not the cost. It's the process and time that it takes. It's about $500 to become a legal citizen. The thing is that they don't want to be a citizen. They want to work and then go home. I don't want them to become citizens. They they become lower-class income families who are legally entitled to the full array of America's Social Services. Why the hell would you want them to become legal citizens?

It's called learning from the mistakes of others. I like to bring up France because xenophobes are usually flag-waving, French-hating-types and it amuses me when I point out how similar they are to the people they dislike.

Lives being lost have very little to do with a person's immigration status. It doesn't surprise me that you're not capable of understanding that.

In comparison to Latin illegals? Very few. The question you need to ask now is why are there not an equal amount of Canadian illegals flooding across the border to America?

No, it's because the citizens of Canada have very few reasons to illegally migrate to the US. The solution to illegal immigration is not troops at the border or building walls. It's Latin American countries creating reasons for their citizens to remain at home. Otherwise, all Americans are doing is perhaps slowing the flow of illegals and spending millions of dollars (that we don't have) to do it. Meanwhile, the country's economy has lost cheap labor, millions of dollars of funding into social programs that few illegals draw from and completely turned their back on their heritage.

I dunno. How many Americans break into private property to steal and murder other Americans? Where is the rage against that group of people who far out-number illegal immigrants committing the same acts.

What you describe is a tiny percentage of illegal immigrants. My fears are far greater towards actual citizens who do far greater damage to this country with their idiotic ideas about what this country is about. Actual citizens don't need to live a low profile existence in order to scrabble together a few dollars to send back home to starving families and getting caught doing something more than breaking your back for less than the American minimum wage means you're back in some ****hole town where the water is bad and your family starves.

You know very little about the country you call home if you really believe all of that.

I think it is simple really, the less of a certain type of person to do a job, the more that job will pay……for uh......real Americans...

Defending our border against invaders is one of the few purposes of our federal government, not the array of crap it now does. Defending the border is not the job of law enforcement.

The largest problem is that once they cross the border they have kids. These kids are now American and they get foodstamps , medical cards , free lunch at school and everything else the government supplies. These immigrants are a burden to our already over streached social service systems. We simply can't afford to take care of them without raising taxes on Americans to take care of non- Americans sucking the taxpayer tit. You have to take care of the parents of these kids because these kids born here are minors and citizens.
Another thing is that they don't assimilate into American culture. They won't learn our language. Instead of them becoming Americans they try to turn America into a version of the country they came from. All other immigrants raised their kids to be Americans first. These people have no allegiance to America. They fly Mexican flags and celebrate Mexican holidays. They want to reconquer the American southwest by coming here and having a litter of kids and then using the vote to turn our country into an Mexican enclave.
