I don't understand why some people insist on carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders, but you are from a highly politically-charged state. If it were me, I wouldn't worry about other posters, what they say, what I can't control, and just focus my efforts on this mighty fine season that our boys are having. But that's just me.

I've apologized for my quip about the Swamp People TV show. But you are grasping at straws to say it offsets racist comments about blacks. The mods are most welcome to ban me if they feel a quip about a tv show is deeply offensive. Is Tiger Forums a place where unequivocal racism towards blacks is happily tolerated? Where large segments of the LSU fan base can be made to feel unwelcome? Is that what this online community wants? Want to take a guess at what percentage of our football team would find those comments offensive? I thought this was a welcoming, inclusive, friendly forum. Was I mistaken?
Damn I hate people like you. Same old story, just like ever black comedian I have ever seen making racial jokes about white people and instead of getting offended, I laugh. God forbid a white comedian does the same. These kinds of outbursts solidify my belief that a large number of black people are just as racist as they claim all white people are.

To be honest, I don't see what you quoted as horrible racist. Was it immature, sure, but I don't know if I'd call it racist.
Read up to halftime. Maybe they were tongue in cheek. I don't know. Maybe thats a damage control statement made after drinking too much. Not sure how asking if someone is mixed race is "tongue in cheek."
I think much of what is taken to be racist about JJ is just the fact that he is not that great of a QB. JJ just happens to be black and just happens not to be able to throw the football well. He has moments like the 1st half of the game when every throw he makes is off by 5 yards! He is a average at best QB but CLM sees him as our best chance to win with - so ? Geaux Tigers
I think this is much ado about nothing. Im not saying it's wrong to address it but I don't honestly see what was so racist and I can't stand when a statement is selectively taken out of context and then fanned into some BS race card accusation. I'm done with this. You guys handle it how u like. I think it's garbage. Don't be so thin skinned. Next time come with something more than an out of text piece of nothing.
