Again Winston, you are ignoring decades of the Kurds and Turkey going at it.

As many have said, there is very little way to determine who is SDF or PKK.

"During the 1980s Turkey began a program of forced assimilation of its Kurdish population.[48] This culminated in 1984 when the PKK began a rebellion against Turkish rule attacking Turkish military and civilian targets. Since the PKK's militant operations began in 1984, 37,000 people have been killed. The PKK has been continuing its guerrilla warfare in the mountains.[49] However, since 1995, and especially since the AK Party came to power there have been numerous reforms and the situation has greatly improved.[50] As a result, the fighting is limited to approximately 3000 fighters.[51]"

You’re right 123 they have been at each other for years. Ethnic and religious conflict is as old as man I guess. Even in Europe the Brits and Irish only quit murdering each other a few years ago.
Of course that’s what makes Trump’s actions even more egregious. He removed the trip wire and brake that prevented what’s happening now. In fact he made it worse by the way he did it. No Trump isn’t the reason they hate each other....but he is the tool that allowed this latest violence be unleashed.

Winston, by what right do we have to be involved in everyone's conflict?

Further, the way things were headed, we were going to get caught in the middle of it. Was protecting the Kurds worth fighting Turkey over?

    The answer is no!

If he saves American lives by bringing them home he is condoning bad stuff by the other side. If a bunch of Americans get killed it's no big deal to the left.

Generally for the left .... all death and Mayhem that benefits them politically gets a pass. Or ... All death and mayhem that hurts their opponent, Which again benefits them, is a crime against humanity.

There is no winning with the left, as there is no rational thought.

Stain? You want stain? Try our blood stained soldiers dying for shitholes like Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq only to see what they died for never changes. Vietnam claimed 50,000 America lives for what? Easy for you to say. Why don't you go get yourself stained with your own blood not volunteer someone elses blood. Why don't you volunteer to go fight for your pompous cause.

So you keep saying I’m against our leaving. That isn’t close to my position. Whether we stay or leave needs to be a considered decision based on the facts on the ground and political situation. That’s not what happened here. Trump after a single phone call and WITHOUT consulting anyone decided on the spur of the moment to throw the Kurds to the wolves. He did this in the middle of the night and gave less than 24 hours warning.
As so many of you have noted the Turks and Kurds have been at each other’s throats for centuries so what is happening was to be expected. He threw his best and most effective allies.....alllies who had sacrificed 11,000 lives to beat down ISIS.
No my problem isn’t whether or not to pull out it’s how when and why Trump did what he did. As the general said the blood of the Kurds is on his hands. Only willfully blind people won’t acknowledge the fact. Those whose noses are too far up Trump’s butt to see.
I don’t expect to change minds but I will keep rubbing Trump’s shit in your faces.

WOW! The General said it! Well if "the general" said it we must all bow down cause "the general" said it. Forget everyone else and make "the general" dictator for life cause you can't disagree with "the general". Hell we don't need a president, a senate and a house or even a supreme court we just need " the general".

    Is this your "general".
