I have to say that I was surprised that someone else hasn't already commented on the growing controversy around Trump, his refusal to release his taxes and his obvious ties to Russian oligarchs.
    Let's review:

1 - Trump's debt load has increased exponentially in the past year, from roughly 350 million to 630 million while his liquid assets have decreased. Trump has been blackballed by all US banks, which means that they have refused to loan him money any more.

2 - Since his bankruptcies Trump has been reliant on capital from Russian oligarchs and sub-garchs with direct ties to Vladimir Putin. In 2008, shortly after being blackballed by US banks, Donald Trump Jr. made this comment:
“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Trump’s son, Donald Jr., told a real estate conference in 2008, according to an account posted on the website of eTurboNews, a trade publication. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

3 - Trump's SoHo development in Manhatten is an example. In typical Trump fashion, Trump defrauded investors and was hit with lawsuits as a result of it. Litigation of the case revealed that Trump secured "secret" financing from Russia and Khazakstan

4 - Then there is Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign manager. Manafort spent the past decade working for the pro-Russian Ukrainian prime minister, Viktor Vanukovych. Vanukovych is very pro-Putin.

5 - Trump's foreign policy advisor on Russia, Carter Page, has spent his entire career making investments in Russian companies and specifically Gazprom. For those of you not familiar with gazprom, imagined that entire US energy sector was rolled into one, government controlled entity that is controlled by the President. That is Gazprom. I believe it is safe to say that one cannot be as embedded with Gazprom as Page has been and not have close ties to Putin.

6 - Over the past year Putin has aligned all government controlled media to favor Trump.

7 - Now here's the kicker.....During the GOP convention, during the debate to formulate the Republican party platform, the Trump team had little to no interest in making contributions with one, lone exception: changing the platform on assistance to Ukraine against Russian military operations. To be clear the Trump crowd wanted the languaged changed from arming Ukraine with lethal weaponry to defend itself against a Russian invasion to arming Ukraine "appropriately."

8 - Trump very obviously courted the Russian government in his press conference yesterday. He is trying to deny it now but he openly called for the Russian government to commit espionage. Further, with all the references to Watergate, this hack is equal to it...and maybe worse. Thieves broke into a virtual DNC headquarters and are trying to us it to sway the election. Criminal.

Does this mean that Trump is definitely in bed with the Russians and Putin? No. Does it cast a long shadow of suspicion that could easily be cleared up by releasing his tax returns? Sure. Until Trump takes measures to dispel this speculation and releases his tax returns, this story will only grow......and it should.

We're too busy being pissed about lack of actions on what we KNOW the bitch DID. There's plenty of commenting on Trump in the media. Let's see more on the questionable Clinton Foundation ties to foreign countries. Comment on that objectively then maybe we'll comment on Trump in the like.

He did not knowingly do that. That is not what he intended. We do not know his intentions. Or do Intentions matter now, too? LAMO

You know I was about to reply to each point there until I decided to make it much more lean. Is your name Josh Marshall? Because you basically cut and pasted (or so it seems) right from his TPM website blog....

The same Josh Marshall who is a Jewish liberal blogger with nothing up on his site about Sanders being screwed over by Hillary and her lapbitch.

Well, you have made some reaches, there, but we believe, at least I do, that Hillary will win, so there is no point saying much else, except when Hillary does egregious stuff. That does not change any of the negative things about her, just that she is going to win.

And lastly, why doesn't HRC and the Dems simply ask the Russians to Hack Trumps tax returns?
