In my opinion, what he said was far beyond poor taste. He leveled an absolute insult to the widow of a fallen hero who was being honored by the nation at the Presidential address. The company he worked for is a consulting company with a stellar reputation and they depend on business based on that very thing. They have three founding partners. One of them is a West Point graduate. If you go to their website the very first thing you'll see is their statement regarding his termination. They have handled this in a textbook manner and it serves their commitment to who they are. The way I look at it, they did him a favor. I guarantee you somebody's got eyeballs on him right now and he knows it.
