    did you see the last inning? CSF almost folded like a cheap tent.... While i dont think umps have a bias toward one side or the other....there are those who seem to like to make the opposite call at times on a close call....like its a power trip or something. Similar to an ump who calls an 0-2 pitch that was a strike before, a ball. Or when its an obvious ball 4 and the guy heads to first the ump most always calls it a strike even if its 4 feet outside and in the dirt.

    Well, I used to umpire baseball but...I thought you were out running inside the baseline only if you could avoid running into the fielder attempting to make a play. if that was the play in question then sorry I opened my mouth...I missed it.

    Tirk, the rule is if you are running inside the line and the catcher is making an attempt towards first you are out...I think thats it
