I think you should start contributing to discussion and not trying to start things. Thanks.

In response, however, I think it's funny that in the last decade MSU has...

    dang. Almost nothing.

Yeah, I don't respect teams just for "Facing" SEC opponents, I understand what you meant though and wouldn't try to discredit that statement.

I do, however, respect the Boise and Appy St's that upend big programs though. Pat Hill @ Fresno St. doesn't turn anyone down either.

Didn't really feel like the 2nd part was the thesis statement though.

    What a bunch of ill-informed, closed-minded, sour-grape morons....I hope we hang 70+ on 'em.

    Go to hell, Tulane.

OK '71, Crunch, or whoever else is registered there...step up. They're talking about how the BCS schools...not specifically LSU...but BCS schools in general...cheat to get or keep great players...which is why TU can't succeed, I suppose. Somebody PLEASE remind them of their basketball program from the 80's...right around the time they last defeated LSU in football. If you don't know what I'm talking about, they were caught paying players when Ned Fowler was coach...I'd say maybe 1983 or 84...and they received the "death penalty".

Also, might wanna mention the player that stabbed the person in the FQ...since they also think LSU is a bunch of criminals!!

I brought that up but the post was deleted quickly. I've already had 3 or 4 posts deleted and none were flames or derogatory.

I can't believe they actually have a sports board. As a lifelong New Orleans area(west bank) resident, I can tell you that there are more LSU fans in this area than Tulane fans. Despite Tulane being the "home team," they are completely irrelvant and no one really cares. You never see people walking around with Tulane gear on. However, you see MANY people wearing LSU gear. As far as knocking LSU for not buying all the tickets, Tulane games are very poorly attended. Most people in this city aren't even aware of the fact that a Tulane game is actually going on.

As far as academics go, that is the biggest load of you know what. I have heard from several Tulane students that the curriculum is very very easy. I have also heard from students that transferred from Tulane to UNO, that UNO has a far more difficult curriculum.

Basically the people on that board are the minority as far as cheering interests in LSU/Tulane go. That gathering of fans may be the only real Tulane fans left in New Orleans.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

I hope these angry Wave fans don't start stabbing anyone at the game. It seems to be a part of the program. They had better worrry about keeping their players out of trouble or they won't win any games this season. That was brutal video. Makes me a little scared to even go down on Bourbon anymore. Here is the story. Made national news and the video was on the news also.

Police arrested Tulane running back Ray Boudreaux in connection with a stabbing in New Orleans that left five people hurt last weekend. Boudreaux was arrested early yesterday at his home in Metairie, La., on five counts of attempted murder, according to the police, who said the knife used in the stabbings was found in his house. Tulane suspended Boudreaux from the university and the team.
