Pat Henry is the MAN! An article posted here a while back about X. Carter, our new football recruit, stated he was the 40? fastest human being in this country ( 117th fastest in the WORLD ). I assume he will run track for LSU when he gets here and I also assume our track and field program helped him decide to come here when he could have gone anyplace else. Us diehard LSU football fanatics owe a debt of gratitude to the coaches of all the other mens and womens sports teams for putting LSU into the national spotlight and the minds of the HS athletes across the nation.

Well said. This will continue to help us recruit in other sports. Congrats to all players, coaches, and fans.

Edyel, good post but you don't have to assume any of what you said about XC, he said it himself at least a few times, the track program is one of ther main reasons he came to LSU and Henry recruited him just as hard as Saban did. Keep going Tigahs, we'll have the outdoor meet in a few weeks and we'll be favored but the competition will be awfully tough. Great job track team!!

    ANY OTHER 2-SPORT CHAMPIONS?

Does anyone know of another college athlete with two championships in two different sports in the same year? Brazell may be one of the few...
