    She may be able to cut a deal if she helps convict the leaders of the scam. She is a small fry. If she doesn't help she will do hard time.

    Absolutely but was she the leader or just "following orders"? I understand the article to indicate she was one of several filling out the false claims. Was this her idea and did she set it up or was she being directed? If just a worker she can possibly bargin for her testimony against the leaders.
