LSU fans and players can't allow players' comments to the media adversely affect LSU in any way, shape or form. For the good of the team, even if a player's words are inartful or poorly phrased, we must move on and leave the issue behind.
Just listened to the interview. He clearly said "OUR quarterback" - nothing wrong at all with what he said or how he said it. If anything, he emphasized that the team just goes out and plays hard - doesn't seem to matter who is the starter or the sub.
I heard TM7 on the Pollack and Palmer show today and he did very well. He sounded like a mature NFL player talking about his team. I was impressed and proud.
