something tells me that unless this kid gets his leg amputated, he'll play... We need to take advantage of it though.

just read the same article and came straight here. It doesnt sound that serious...nothing a shot of cortizone cant fix. He will play...it is potentially the biggest game of this guys career.

He may play, but how effective will he be? A thigh bruise is painful and should affect his leaping. BB may not have to jump to rebound!!

Bear Bryant always had one of those injured guys run for 100+ yards against us.

Even with a cortisone shot, he may feel funny in the leg and may not jump effectively.

by game time he won't feel his leg. best case scenario, affalo takes out the other leg in a collision ala vinnie the microwave, pistons vs celtics.

Easy money on Bodog.com, at least: You can still get odds on Hollins combined points and rebounds O/U (it's at 17). He just has to enter the game, not play "the whole way" or a min. # of minutes.

Went under, no problem. If freaking L. Aldridge--a top 3 pick this summer---goes for 13 combined, what's this marshmellow soft kid with the severely bruised thigh gonna do?

He goes....6 pts, 6 rebs at the very best.

    He can jump? :hihi:

Seriously, I hope the guy's okay. I couldn't imagine having an injury this close to one of the biggest games you've ever played in. That's gotta be tough.

Kick him in the .... other knee !!!

Kiddng. Hope he plays and is 100%. Hate to see a kid who has worked so hard to get here not be able to play because of an injury. We'll beat 'em anyway of course !!!!!!!
