UCLA LB #44 to College GameDay Crew: "You're stupid"

Of course they aired it, the best thing that can happen to Gameday is to piss off 50% of the fans. That will get the most amount of viewers possible - the guys who love the show (because their team is getting sucked off) and the fans whose team is getting disrepsected. If they weren't pissing people off, their viewership would be very small (OSU/UF/UM fans).

 

Last night I was watching BCS Breakdown on FSN (staring Gary Barnett!) and some loser on there said, and I quote, "USC won't lose this game. They can't lose this game." I started thinking, right then, that for once (in the last 3 years) Lou Holtz might have been on to something. (He was the one saying how UCLA could very well pull off the upset.)

 

People laugh at old Lou, and rightly so, but he has predicted more games correctly than the past 'analysts' they've had on that show.

 

Being the media darling seems to have worked against USC the in the last two nat'l champ. outcomes. i love it. I hope it continues honestly. Players listen to this stuff. It gives the underdogs fuel and the favorites a big head.
