I think that has more to do with the fact that Coach Miles himself has chosen to kind of de-emphasize this event. It's just going to be the final scrimmage of the spring, and it will just happen to be open to the public.
UGA might be Spurrier's goal but it may take some big games against the dawgs before they compare to Clemson as a rival, in the fans' eyes.
I am not talking about the fans eyes at all....about who Spurrier would want to beat the most. IMO, its UGA by far. He has hated them with a deep passion ever since he took the UF job.
