GA by 7 I was reading the NY Times who has California ranked ahead of Auburn and USC #2 to Okrahoma. The NYT said that AU and Swissconsin have hurt them selves by not scheduling tougher opponents this year. I agree w/that. But you can't take anything away from a team that goes undefeated in the SEC. They quoted TUBBY as saying that given the chance he WOULD keep an eye on the scoreboard to impress the voters. I don't think he will run up anything against GA and Bammer for they will be lucky to win both of those games. Tubby is no NS. I don't think NS cares too much on what the final score is, as long as LSU has more points. Classy! Tubby did mention that he would like a 4 game playoff if they have 4 undefeated teams this year.
Gotta go against the majority here and say Georgia takes it to Auburn and wins by 10. My question is, who has Auburn beaten that actually has a quarterback? And as far as Georgia losing to Tennessee.....they were emotionally spent after exorcising the demons of Saban & Co. from last year.......I'd be willing to bet that Georgia won't be that flat this week. Plus, Auburn is due for a bad game, it's tough to go through the SEC undefeated.....and why is everyone so sold on Jason Campbell all of a sudden? Used to be the guy couldn't make the big play when it counted and now he's unstoppable....I just don't buy it. Dawgs by 10-you heard it here first! :lsug:
Auburn is a team of destiny this year, much like the REAL Tigers from LSU were last year. this game is extremely similar to the LSU/Ole Miss battle from last year.....huge rivalry game with huge national implications on the line. Auburn has one thing in their corner, and that is home field advantage. Georgia will not throw against Auburn's defense, as i feel Auburn will be in D Greene's grille all day. I think Auburn will establish the run early, and then hit some big play action passes to seal the deal. let the chaos begin in the BCS!!!! Barners 24 Dawgs 13
Could be his #3 efficiency rating after 9 games (5 SEC). Doesn't matter if you buy it or not....the kid is good this year.
Preface: I hate Aubarn. Post: I like Jason Campbell and I am impressed by what he has accomplished thus far this year. He has gone through multiple offensive schemes and some difficult times. Now as a senior, he has become a proven leader and is having an excellent season.
Preface duly noted. Great post. Campbell has earned the respect of even his harshest hometown critics this year.
I thought Randall and Campbell were about the same heading into this year. Both had some potential, but were very inconsistent throughout their careers. Unfortunately for LSU, only one of them improved... Auburn beats UGA in a close game!
