Above the shoulder injury sort of gives it away. Arky Offense reminds me of the days of the high flying Gators. They would spread you, but I can still see the Seminoles nearly decapitating Wuerffel. Their game-plan was "to hit to the echo of the whistle." Sounds good to me.

those are the crazy ones, most in this state are pissed at Petrino and realize why the AD had to fire him

That might actually be a decent hire--if he brought in a good defensive coordinator.

This can be their equivalent of Tebow's Promise speech. :D

Amazing how many Hog fans think that names like Gruden, Patterson, or even Carroll would be interested in the job.

I watched some of that replay last night and they just got their a** kicked in the fourth quarter. ULM was the better team with better athletes. Ark's poor recruiting is finally catching up with them. They occasionally catch lightening in a bottle with players like Mallet, Felix, and McFadden. This props them up but gives them false exspectations.

maybe it's just something about Arkansas that causes their coaches to turn into complete dick heads. Petrino last year with us, JL Smith this year with Monroe. Maybe they hate Louisiana so much that it just drives them nuts when a team from our state beats them.

How does a coach (Smith) motivate and teach his team to have respect for each other, the opposition players, etc., when the coach does not even live up to being a good example. This game was not a Superbowl, and life still goes on--in Arky & elsewhere--so what justification does the coach have to be a boor, a poor sport and a crappy example of "how not to behave" after a competition?

Loser X 2: one for the loss, one for the "unsportsmanlike conduct."

One of my bosses is a huge Piggy fan, and he claims the sentiment all over the state is that they do not like JL Smith at all. And this was before this game.

    b_leblanc That's just my game...

This is very common among the piggy brethren.
