Prediction: This thread will get more play than the Official LSU - Tulane Game Thread. Observation: It's definitely a good season when this has us more juiced up than our offensive line play. Overall Thoughts: I don't mind it for one game. I always liked the white helmet. The eye should be incorporated on our regular uniform in some capacity.
Well, I feel partially responsible for this... I recently wondered what it would look like if we had white helmets, purple jersey, and white pants - now I know! :shock: I wonder how much worse it looks because it's on a mannequin instead of a human, and because the purple jerseys are so different than normal, especially the stripes around the shoulders that are mostly missing.
What I don't understand is why is there a partial strip on the shoulder at all? At that point, you might as well make it solid purple. The short stripe makes it look even dumber than it might otherwise.
I don't see the big deal guys. I actually kinda like it. I wouldn't want it often but once a year is OK.
Damn you guys need to chill out. I have seen multiple threads on this forum where someone has photoshopped some purple, white pant, white helmet uni's and now we do it for a good cause and for ONE GAME.... you guys are freaking out over uniforms...? Damn, did you guys get mad at your wife for buying the striped instead of polka dotted tie last Christmas too? You guys are a joke...
