The photo quality just isn't too good. Those actually did look pretty decent back when they wore them years ago against ND.
I like the white helmet. I do like that we are doing something different for a change. I wouldnt want to have this look all of the time but every once in a while is good.
I'd definently want to see the white helmets incorporated more often but I don't know about those jerseys, I do think the pelican looks good, better than the one on our current LA flag...what colors would look better with the white helmet? Oh, and those gold jerserys are hideous.
If anyone is interested, a t-shirt with the Katrina pelican logo and block LSU is available at espnshop.com. Just search under LSU Katrina and it'll come up. Pretty nice looking t-shirt! (and a lot cheaper than the jersey).ldskule:
Ok... I just saw the jerseys in the LSU bookstore. I have to admit, they look really nice. Sure it's not traditional LSU, but for a one time deal it's not so bad. I might actually go ahead and buy one later in the week. Geaux Tigers!
Ok, a once in a while uni change against a nobody opponent. I'll bite. Just give us back our regular uniforms for important games. o: Of course, if they wanted to sell those uni's, put them on a dummy that doesn't look like a wimp. Dorsey might actually make that uni look good.
I don't think they're that bad, actually. They'll look better when we see our newly clad Tigers running over Greenies in them.
the jersey does look much better in person. if you get one, don't forget the short shorts to go with it. :hihi:
Those purple pants spoiled my trip to Kentucky even before we lost. I never want to see them or hear "First Down Kentucky" again. As for these uniforms - Old School - New School – you can’t fix stupid and you can’t fix these ugly uniforms. I just wish we were only wearing them for the spring game or something that would not be getting much TV coverage. This looks like something out of Oregon or at least high school. I guess I'll just have to wear one of my shirts with the old logo in protest. ldskule: ldskule: ldskule: ldskule:
