Personally, I always felt Auburn had the best looking uniform in the conference. I would put LSU second.

I'm not a big fan of Bama's uniforms but I do like PSU's. The solid blue or the white roadies with the outline and the V-neck is classic.

    I put LSU 1, Auburn 2. Maybe 1 and 1A.

It's great that we wear white all the time that way both teams are wearing their home uni's. I usually like most uni's that have a solid (and easy to look at) color as the background, kinda like Auburn's dark blue, UGA's red, PSU's dark blue. for out of conference i love Texas's roadies with the white and burnt orange numbers they wore vs USC in the 06 Rose Bowl

I'm surprised he didn't point out how Tennessee uses that bizarre font that stretches the names across the jersey so that "Lott" is as wide as "Haynesworth."

I love LSU's. When I see an LSU helmet in invokes a sentimental feeling inside that I can't describe. I've wondered before if fans from other schools get the same when they see a pic of a player wearing their unis.

One of my pet peeves is when people say "Yellow" instead of "Gold" ........what team wants to be called "Yellow"?

Another one is when people say "points" in softball/baseball instead of "Runs". ;)

Wonder no longer. While I like to see Brandon Hancock for instance out of his jersey, I LOVE to see him IN the jersey.

I hear red and yellow used to describe SC's colors and they are officially Cardinal and Gold so I understand your point about yellow. :hihi:

LSU is definitely the most festive; we will rock you and have fun doing it.

AU is understated, but evokes a presence.

Most of the rest seem to try too hard to create an image.

One school, though, seems not to have put much effort into design and bought their uniforms off the rack from a local sporting goods store.

Does Boise get special allowances because of their heroics last year? ;)

When I saw BYU in a blue, white, and MAUVE jersey, I knew that someone was getting a pink slip soon. Not cream. Not off-white. A very light brown. Hideous.

Personal opinion on the SEC thing- I rather like the new Vandy helmets, I started (but never finished) a dynasty in NCAA with them for that exact reason. I think I'd rank it so:
LSU- Best helmet, tradition in the white with the awesome shoulder stripes
    Auburn- Logo is saving grace
Georgia- again, the helmet, and the silver pants
    Bama- Tradition IS tradition
    Vanderbilt- Love the new helmet
MSU- I like the plain maroon. Croom changes it every year, I'll have to see it before this stays official.
    Arkansas- Yawn. Bama v. 2.0
    Florida- Ummm, eh.
    Carolina- MSU with black. Gross.
    Kentucky- Yawn.
    Tennessee- OWWW MY EYES.
Ole Miss- I'm sorry, but the typeface on their numerals is barely legible.
