Its odd that they mention British and "Canadian forces".

Hmm....didn't JFK appoint his brother RFK to be Attorney General......

Yes and it was controversial at the time. However Bobby Kennedy was at least a qualified lawyer. He also did a few ill advised things some of which may have led directly to his brother’s assassination......not a sterling example though the left won’t acknowledge it.
Also Nixon’s AG John Mitchell served time in prison for Watergate crimes. Perhaps they are lessons better learned than repeated, right?

Then why do historians refer to their forces?

Trump has his daughter and son-in law as ADVISORS, not in positions of importance

Canada was a colony/territory. Didn't have to be a country to be called Canada

Point is Canadians were British citizens and any armed forces in the War of 1812 were British....including the Hessians who sacked Washington. Canada as a country didn’t exist and its inhabitants had nothing to do with the decision. Trump didn’t lie he showed his ignorance which is profound

Jesus I guess I’m a fucking Tunica Biloxi Indian then? Maybe I’m a Frenchman, or Spaniard. Hell, Iived in Baton Rouge which was once controlled by Spain. Guess that makes me Spanish.
