Proving the media are blithering idiots is an incredibly low bar. Besting those morons should hardly be grounds for a victory celebration.

Boy the art of deal. Take notes people. That’s how you make deals. Give North Korea what they want and get nothing in return.

North Korea media reported to their people that they agreed to denuclearization. That seems like a really positive development. Why would they tell their people that if they didn't intend it?

What did he give them? He said they wouldn't do joint military exercises. Well guess what, they weren't any planned until next year anyway, so if they don't start complying by that time, they could still happen. Making the opponent think they won a concession is a pretty good deal

A beginning? Maybe, even Trump’s most ardent fanboys admit there’s much more to be done.
Let’s see the follow up. What do we actually agree to and what does NK actually do when/if an agreement is signed?
For the sake of our country and the world let’s hope this doesn’t hang on Trump’s neck like the Mission Accomplished banner did around W’s.
Let’s hope Trump follows Reagan’s advice to ‘trust but verify’. Those who’re old enough should remember Reagan’s advisors were scared shitless when he went to a one on one meeting with Gorbachev. Reagan came through with a verifiable treaty that truly reduced nuclear weapons and still set the foundation for the collapse of the Soviet Union. Let’s hope Trump does as well as Ron. If so he will have earned acclaim. .
