https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/...ses-jail-over-revealing-player-145202540.html This is an odd story. Says some LSU football equipment from a player that either participated or was on suited on the sideline was sold by a buyer on eBay. The guy who supposedly bought and sold the items is refusing to name the player, and would rather go to jail. I wonder what's going to come of this.
I hope nothing comes of it. This petty shit is so stupid. Schools and the NCAA make a fortune off of athletes and their likeness/image/name. Players don't get shit from it and it's wrong. JoePa is King once again and we're supposed to worry about some freaking cleats? Ridiculous.
I have an empty bottle of Curley Hallman game used Jack Daniels. I was going to put it on eBay but if anybody here wants it I'll trade for a full bottle of fresh JD.
Hard to get on board w this when boosters would exploit. Not loving the JoePa deal either. I think cfb players get a great deal (no student loans, bunch a millennial a would love that). They can always wait and go pro when they old enough. If hooters can be choosy, don't know why NFL can't be. Too busy to make complete sentences.
I also think players should be able to sell their own stuff. What if they had a part time job in high school and bought a car and sell it? Can they sell the car?
