I got this from the Nashville Alum Assoc - anyone heard any updates?

LSU-Fla. expected to be night kickoff
    Advocate staff report
    Published: Sep 23, 2007

LSU officials expect to find out Monday that the Oct. 6 LSU-Florida game will be shown in a rare, over-the-air prime-time slot.
Both teams improved to 4-0 on Saturday. No. 2 LSU beat South Carolina, 28-16, while No. 3 Florida got by Ole Miss, 30-24.
Oct. 6 is a doubleheader day for CBS, with games at 2:30 and 7 p.m. The only other game that could contend for the prime-time kickoff is Georgia-Tennessee, but neither team can claim to be undefeated at this point like the Tigers and Gators. CBS officials have long had their eye on LSU-Florida as their prime-time contest.
If selected, it would be the first time an over-the-air network has televised an home game at night since the Tigers and Alabama opened the 1981 season on ABC.

Sorry if this is a dumb question - would ESPN send gameday for a CBS broadcast?

Certainly not a dumb question, in fact there's been some debate on that very same idea. It's possible.

    I think I heard 7:30 kickoff.

Ok its not "EXPECTED" it has not been expected since BEFORE the season started when CBS Announced that this would be their PRIMETIME game for this season. (They have done this for the past 2 or 3 years)

As far as Gameday for a CBS Game not only is it possible but it has happened before. Even before ESPN and ABC had ugly man sex they would go to games that were on ABC, they have gone to games on NBC as well. HOWEVER since the unholy union that is a trend that has slowly started to fade.

BUT I HOPE AND PRAY that they DO NOT come here!!!
