1. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

That's because they had just ordered out for fried turkey burgers and he didn't want to miss out. Just a FYI. (see last pic for confirmation)
  2. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

Doesnt look like he has missed many meals does it?
  3. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

We won a championship last year and I remember all the rumblings about Pelini. That's just the norm with any fanbase. We're NEVER satisfied. Ignore the good, pounce on the bad things that happen.
  4. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

Yeah - last year about this time we were ready to pillory Pelini because we thought his new HC position was taking his focus off preparing the Tigers. I was one of the complainers. I was wrong. We were wrong. :geaux:
  5. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

yep, a month later and a bunch of healthy players and Pelini was back to being Pelini.

  7. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

dont take it so personally. I still like your lists. even if they are contrived.

i dont hate chavis. Id just like someone better that plays a more aggressive style.

i agree. id be ok with him and yawyaw on the sidelines. could be worse.
  8. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

As it was this year--and when Tepper was the DC.
  9. Re: DC Watch: John Chavis

Just talked to a co-worker who's a UT diehard. I told her rumors are swirling that Chavis is headed to Tiger Town. She said, "John is a good man, but he's been around too long."

Experience, of course, isn't a bad thing. And, as LSU fans have discovered with Mallory and Peveto, inexperience at DC can be a terrible thing. Still, I sort of feel the same way that my co-worker does. Ho-hum about Chavis.
