    People are catching on. There are three Tigers named to the pre-season Playboy All-America Team this year and they almost never have LSU players although they are usually loaded with west coast players.

    Spear, Webster, and Whitworth.

    I'd posted sometime midway last season that respect is not earned overnight, it is earned over time. Well, the time has now passed, and LSU is getting its due respect!

    Let me get this straight. If he had picked us fourth or third, everyone would be saying "WHAT A JACKASS, WE GET NO RESPECT." But since he picked us first, everyone is saying "GET OFF OUR BANDWAGON YOU TOOL!"

    Anyone else see a problem with that?

    Basically what I was getting at. Last year during the season were outraged by a lack of respect, as if it was owed right then and there. Now that the respect has been earned and it is being received, the fans do not want LSU to have it!

    You beat me to it. Last football season all we heard was griping about the lack of respect from the media and ESPN in particular. Now they give us the respect and the same people are b*itching about it. Let's be consistent.
