Yes. I am reading that the Winston/FSU camp reading the announced press conference for Thursday as a positive sign.

Wait, if they could say that they were done, why wouldn't they just announce their decision at the same time? Jameis probably won't be sleeping much tonight.

If they just announce there are no charges, they'll get slaughtered in the media. They want to be able to control the message a little so they call a news conference and explain why there are no charges. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. The other school of thought is that they're giving him time to turn himself in. Seems unlikely.

I have a feeling his lawyer already knows and has passed the news on to him.

Oh i'm sure Winston knows which way their going to go. No charges due to no injuries, and it's a he said she said case... he says it was a consensual relationship.

    ESPN is covering the announcement?

This is beginning to be unnecessarily glorified like a recruiting announcement.

I don't care. It's low rent no matter how you look at it.

100% agree with you. ESPN has nothing left to do now that their golden child Bama lost.

You can bet if FSU and OSU lose their championship games, the Nick Saban knob-polishing factory in Bristol will be operating at triple capacity.
