I'd love to see LSU vs Kansas. If kansas escapes undefeated they'll have earned it. OU and Mizz aren't pushovers.

Are you kidding? LOTS of people care. I can't imagine a better match up right now than LSU and Oregon. It has the makings of a great game with plenty of side stories going on. Oregon is more than a media darling. They are a good team, period. I'm not saying they are better than LSU just that they deserve more than a "media darling" dismissal.

I think everyone's assumption is that if Hawaii ends up winning out (which will include a win over Boise State) they will finish in the top 12. As you probably know, a non-BCS conference champion that finishes in the top 12 is guaranteed a BCS birth. Since the Sugar Bowl has the last pick of the at large bids, they are assumed to be stuck with Hawaii.

Well, I said it a bit tongue-in-cheek (and I would expect someone living on the west coast to care more than most ;) ). Guess it didn't come out well over paper. Sorry. I do think that the matchup people tend to want to see right now is LSU-Oregon. At any rate, do you have any thoughts on Kansas jumping Oregon if Kansas wins out?

I'd be pretty darn disappointed.....as a football fan AND a Pac10 resident. I suppose Kansas can make a very good argument for that to happen if they win out but I'd still believe Oregon to be the better team if they win out.

Course it's likely that as usual somebody is going to get left out. Since it's just LSU and Pac10 fans here :)rolleye33:  ) I hope it's Kansas.
