    Sammy Martin, possibly the fastest white boy to ever play football at LSU, wore #23 back in the 80's.

    And in Baseball, there's #19 (Ben McDonald, Robbie Smith) and #15 (Skip).

    Because LSU has a great history of RB's moving to WR and becoming great WR's. Tony Moss, Josh Reed, Skylor Green, and I forgot the guys name that played for the saints just to name a few.

    Hey cajdav, great pix man, you ever hear James Dopson tell the story of how he was there when Pete passed? It's depressing, but if Pete was gonna go any way, I have a feeling he'd take going on the b-ball court.

    Yeah, I thought about Pete passing away on a court as soon as I heard the news, kind of like a sailor(Viking) funeral in a sense, but the law enforcement officials would have had a fit if LSU would have burned a gym with Pete in it.
