Even though the importance of this case is huge on its own, this could not come at a worse time for Meyers when you consider that Ohio State is already under the microscope for sexual abuse allegations against the former doctor of the Ohio State wrestling team. tOSU will probably move to end the Meyer affair quickly, decisively, and with a lot of fanfare to prove that they don't tolerate any kind of abuse.
