I am. If that played into his decision, that's a shame. Florida would be hard pressed to find a more qualified coach. I don't particularly like Meyer, but he's done very well with that team. Whether it's because he got a golden boy to play there and built the whole team around him or the lax officiating in games they played in this season, the team has done well. I'm more inclined to believe it's for his health because the announcement is so sudden, and because of his hospital visit after the SEC championship.
Why do you think Meyer would announce now instead of just waiting a week until the Gators are done with their bowl game?
I agree - he is not being forced out go to the Gator forums they love the guy!!! He is going to take a NFL job or he had a heart attack at the end of the Bama game.
total rumor but i heard he has a tumor in his head has been having headches, migranes, vomiting etc. have no idea if that's vaild.

At this point no one knows. All we can go by is the article written on ESPN, a sports news organization that never gets any of its information wrong. All I was saying was that I hope he wasn't pressured out because of that loss.
