1. Bama’s not 10-2. Their only loss is to Auburn. I’m thinking they put a one loss team ahead of a 2 loss conference champ. I don’t want it, just predicting.

  2. And the answer is 8 teams in the playoffs. The 5 Power 5 conference champs get in plus 3 wild cards. Done.
  3. Agree. In that scenario the first wild card would be Alabama. Who would you choose as the 7th to 8th teams. I would put Wisconsin in. They played a close game and their comecack attempt fell short. Miami, Auburn and TCU would have eliminated because they all got blown out. The obvious choice comes down to Penn State but I would choose UCF. Would Scott Frost have stayed around long enough to coach them i the playoffs?
  4. I agree. Much as we hate them Bama is the clear choice. Are they going to jump the #8 team over the #5 team just because they had a close win over a very average Wisconsin? Well, they would if the 5 team was anybody but Alabama. That is the committee's quandry. There is no clear path to include both of the iconic, traditional powers. Last yeay was Ohio State's turn to be given the bump because of their drawing power and free spending fanbase. This year it's the Gumps turn.

No matter who they choose Clemson is going to repeat. They are clearly a notch or two better than anybody else.
  5. Not putting Bama in would be the committee saying that they are going to hold the SEC to a higher standard than the other conferences.
  6. don't see how they leave bama out. usc has a good argument. Probably better than ohio st

  7. I think they'll put the best 4 teams in there. They may think Bama's in that number because of the Saban mystique. I think it's a down year for Bama and it's a down year for the whole SEC.

  8. You can't agree and then make a counter. Gumps are not the clear choice.
  9. Well we are about to find out. Show is starting now
  10. Yes I can.
