So just to recap: USC beat ND by the exact 3 scores (that I called ). Brent Mussburger CAN do dirty things to Kirk Herbstreit and ND AND USC at the same time. Bradie Quinn is the only player on ND. Knute Rockne had sex with farm animals. Several times, we think. USC won 3 national titles in the last 3 years.
he said BCS games are more then 10-2 records??????? I just reviewed his statement three times on my TIVO - he said it is not about 10-2 records but instead Knute Rockne and the Four Horsemen from 1925.... they let this ********* vote in the AP poll????? he is basing his votes off tradition versus on field play. Herbstreit just lost some serious cred with me with that nugget.
This reminded me a bit of the clowns in the Arkansas/LSU game. After doing a fairly decent job for most of the game, they completely fall apart in worship of one topic. At least McFadden really IS THAT GOOD. ND is a sham team that loses to any good team they play -- BY A WIDE MARGIN.
It's all about ratings...Ohio St/Mich has been done. USC gets annoited to that role now. ND brings a national following...ABC televises the Rose Bowl so announcers are all over ND's jock to sway voter thinking...yea a 3 touchdown shalacking isn't bad...no really...this is USC...that is pretty good against the 3 straight National Champ...
