They walked in about an hour after I got there. To their surprise they had the following: Staring at them in the huge mirror hung my National Championship long sleve shirt. In the bathroom mirror hanging down in all purple was my LSU pullover, in the can was the purple LSU hat ! It was a wonderful way to say we got the trophy. They are both pretty good guys but the conversation raged all weekend !
Kentucky Tiger, that is our church! Saddleback Church. Great men's retreat. Over 800 guys there. We had over 100 guys play in an intense flag football game on Saturday afternoon. Of course, I threw the winning TD to a USC guy !
Tennessee, it is a great church. After moving here 18 years ago we looked for a church to settle down in for about 5 years and pretty much gave up. The Mrs. and I moved to Orange County and started attending almost 7 years ago. It's been an incredible blessing. We both accepted Jesus Christ about 6 years ago. Life has never been so peaceful.
That's a great story. I'm glad to see there are so many Christian tiger fans. I teach in the inner city, and I don't think I could without Christ. Funny thing, all the best teachers in my school seem to be Christian. God bless LSU!
