I have made this point in many threads. I am sick of the OOC schedule argument. Get some more parity between conferences, and I'll buy it. has to play anywhere from 4-6 top 25 teams every season. Out of those, it seems about half are top 10 or even 5. So what does the BCS ask SEC teams to do. Prove you are winners by adding yet another top 25er OOC to your schedule. USC won several times over the past years against Notre Dame. The past few years have been down years for ND, yet USC still gets credit for beating a quality team just because the media gives more credit to ND than they EVER deserve. What's the difference between LSU playing a purported good Arizona State team and getting no just credit for it and USC playing a mediocre ND OOC game.
So the majority rules I wouldn't say anything if teams were ranked based on merit but so much has become a popularity thing where a big media conglomerate can push their own agenda for whatever reason and sway decision making. It is much like an election. How many people go into the booth not knowing who to vote for and vote whoever they heard the most commercials? Conspiracy I say...o:
Speaking of... Did anyone catch what Terry B. said when they announced the new rankings after the Saints game. He basically said it's BS how USC gets squeezed in the top year after year because it will bring good TV ratings.
Ok, the game wasn't close but uSc Lost to oregon st who got killed by boise st. 42-14. My point is Usc has been skating by all season, and this will not be an issue because they are going to lose to Cal!
Actually, I'm rooting for all 3 Big East teams, USC/ND winner, OSU/Mich. winner and SEC champ to all have 1 loss. Phuck things up as much as possible.
Click on this link.......unbelievable. The jerk wants to give a "Hypothetical confession" of how he would have done it "If he would have". What a slap in the face to the families and our justice system. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15066202/
