I heard this on radio today. Can't remember exactly. Want to say 2004 and Wisconsin was the dog. Maybe they were discussing top 5 teams on the radio with this scenario. I believe Wisconsin lost too.
It seems stupid but there are valid reasons. USC has the talent. We went on the road last week and almost took one from the irish less than one week removed from removing our drunkass head coach. It's a home game and we have nothing to lose. Whittingham's name has been a constant on the list of potential coaches. That may be playing with his head but I still think the Utes come in prepared. Maybe folks wouldn't expect it but Utah fans are really obnoxious.
Ok maybe this is it...Wisconsin was ranked #4 or #5 and lost to Michigan State 49-14 in 2004. Michigan State was 4-5 at the time.
it was wisconsin at illinois in 2007. uga in 2002 vs fla at the cocktail party. both ranked teams lost.
SC has outgained all their opponents but one. Utah was outgained 3 times i think i heard and had a couple close ones at home. this ones at the coliseum right? unfamiliar pressure with being ranked for the utes. and if SC wins, they win the south with one more utah loss. this ones going to be close througout i think.
